Isnt that too general of a question? You have to break it down into components and what you need to have done inside the robot (such as computer, sensor conditioning, sensors, motor driver, power supply). From there you search up the actual component. Asking about the circuitry inside a robot seems to be like asking about the mechanics of an airplane (when there are so many different parts from wings to electronics to engines).
When I typed in "Mit Press, The 6.270 Robot Builder'S Guide.pdf" to a google search the following link was second on the list. The page you are reading now was first. If you look down the page a little, and on the right side, then you will see a link to the pdf. Google is your friend. Learn to use it. Hopefully you will find the other one on your own.
