I need some help on the design and construction of a simple analogue study timer. Please include some introductory notes and circuit diagrams. Thanks.

Hey Charity,
When you say "study timer", do you mean something that will alarm when 30 minutes (or so) has passed? Or something that will just time how long that you have studied?

There are several circuits involving timing. You can take a look at this page and see if you find something that looks like what you need. Look under "Oscillators / Timing"
