But, to prevent his/her new questions from diverging into harder and harder topics I guess we should offer some assurance that we will try to help him/her, with his/her new questions, to more or less and sooner or later converge onto answers for his/her original questions.

Any questions that mayeewa may have about the posted question may help mayeewa to think over and identify parts of the originally question that mayeewa doesn’t understand. Hopefully this will converge, as you said, more than less! And hopefully there will also be a lot of ramifications – into topics that are not too complicated! This post should offer the reassurance that you mentioned.

If Hero999 was correct in identifying mayeewa’s problem as homework problem then the problem might have already been solved.
