DC to DC converters

Are there DC to DC converters (or a module) that can take 9 VDC, and buck/boost to 8-12VDC? I would only be responsible for supplying a control signal of some kind. I can't find such an item anywhere.

The only choice I have left is to design one. I can do that, I guess, but it seems like it would be finicky with the switching and everything.

Thanks;
Sean.

Of course. HOw much current do you need? Dimension engineering has some in the form of the MicroVolt or AnyVolt, and so does V-Infinity under "Encapsulated PCB DC-DC Converters" such as the PTK-10 or PTK-15.
