Hi,
i'm looking for a buck converter or other kind of regulated dc/dc converter able of mantaining a constant output voltage of 48V, with a 40V to 60V input Vcc, and an output current programming pin able to source up to 1A.
Is there any IC (Linear Tech or Texas) that satisfies these requirements?
If the output voltage is fixed at 48V the output current will be determined by the connected load resistance, not 'programmed'. Do you mean a programmed current limit?
i've thought a converter like lt1510 http://cds.linear.com/docs/en/datasheet/1510fc.pdf with a current output programming pin, but the output is 20V max.
In this kind of converter is the voltage constant by varying the current?
For a load such as a battery being charged, the current will vary if the voltage is kept constant, or the voltage will vary if the current is kept constant.
