DC booster

Would someone please give me some ideas of how to boost a battery power(4V) up to around 440V(charging my capacitor)?

The circuit for making a few hundred volts to flash a strobe light in a camera is available for free from the stores that receive the cameras to process their film. They remove the film then throw away the disposable camera with its electronic circuit inside.
