Dc battery level indicator

Hi, just wondering if it is possible for someone to have the schematics for a circuit that would show the level of the battery. EG:

Green LED
Green LED
Green LED
Orange LED
Orange LED
Red LED

the 1st green LED is light when the 12v supply is at its maximum, the 1st orange one when it is medium and the red very low.
Something along the lines of this will help me out a great deal, thanks very much in advanced
