Hi,

I want to know that whether DB-25 male or DB-25 female connector can be used for parallel port interfacing?? Would there any difference between the two??

No, the pinout remains the same. No difference.

If you don't know the difference between male and female, you've been leading a sheltered life. ;)

The standard parallel connector on a PC is a DB-25 female. You obviously need a DB-25 male to interface to that.

Of course most new computers don't have either the parallel printer or the serial RS-232 port, only the USB. But you can buy adapters that go from USB to either.
