Current transformer to measure DC?

Can the current transformers (such as SCT-013-030) measure DC current?

My first intuition is not. But it is worth checking.

Maybe there's a reason it's called an AC current transformer. A ferite ring with a primary and a hall effect sensor in a gap can measure DC.

Didn't notice that. The links I was using yesterday did not specify. That particular link was not one I used last night (why would it be, no tech specs). I was just the first link that appeared when I made the post.
