Current Control lm3600

Hai All
I was doing research in SELECTIVE HARMONIC Elimination I want to control my rectifier current for that I am going for PFC. I attached the circuit I want to know roll of LM3600. I got these circuit from net I tried but with out knowing the application of LM3600 I cant proceed further help me.

This is called a data sheet. It contains about all the information available.
