current amplifier

hi alllllll
i want to amplify an input current of 25mA/5volt to 1A/5volt.
i have tried to use ULN2003 darlington chip but the in the data sheet written that ULN2003 chip have limitesd maximun input current of 1.25 mA
So i cant implemented in this case .....
please if any one know the structure of an op-amp current amplifier send it here or if you have another method to solve this problem

use the op amp as a comparator to drive a transistor current above the op-amps spec.
