hi
I bought a crystal oscillator(16MHz) to use with my Atmega32 mcu.

But the marking on the crystal is 'SKC16.000E9'.
I'm confused if it is a 16MHz or something else

please help

Whenever you see "xx.xxx" on an oscillator can, that decimal number symbolizes the frequency it's running at in Megahertz. Since you have 16.000 on the crystal can, then you do indeed have a 16MHz oscillator.

The other letters/numbers are probably manufacturing codes. I believe their actual meanings vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
