copymashine "pipes"

there are 3 kind of "pipes":
1) white one(used for heating something in there)
2) a clear glass(the light you see when it is coping)
3) a blue one(I dont know what for it is)

and the questions are:
what is the third "pipe"?
how to turn all of them on?
 
Different types uses different lamps. The heating lamp looks like a simply halogen lamp, but the wolfram (tungsten?) spiral density higher on the both side. The white lamp (sometimes fluorescent lamp) must be the exposition light. The blue (probably fluorescent ) lamp work as discharger of copy drum.
 
but how do i turn the blue one on?
 
well if u really want to, take it out of the copy machine and put it ina industrial sized microwave :p this makes the argon gass in the tube excite the conductor (the white stuff or the tugsen) and it glows.
