Converting this PC thermometer circuit to an light intensity meter

Hi

Electronics newbie here.

I found this PC thermometer circuit which uses thermistors connected to the game port (https://www.electro-tech-online.com/custompdfs/2008/11/pcthermometer.pdf).
The temperature is logged using a Windows-based software.


Is it possible to convert this thermometer to light intensity meter by replacing the thermistors with photocells? If so, how?

Just replace the thermisters with LDR's, but it does depend on their values - try it and see.

Obviously not, how could a system calibrated in temperature be correct for light anyway - how bright is 47 degrees?
