My calculator adds two bytes together. What I am stuck on is getting the binary result, converting it to decimal and displaying it in an LCD without having to do all the logic myself. Are there any components out there that will do this for me?

if your calculator adds binary it should convert between decimal and binary. if not you can buy one that does that and a lot more for about twenty dollars us

I have found the following chips that convert binary to decimal:

4056
4511
7447

I am using CMOS chips so i guess i go for the 4000 series chips.
