controlling vehicle movement using touch screen

can some one help in interfacing resistive touch pad with ATmega32 microcontroller so that i could get x and y co ordinate values....

I interfaced the touch pad using aurdino but the readings are not stabilized they were too fluctuating i can not do further process...so please any one help me in taking stable inputs from touch pad

What output signals does the touch pad provide (volts, current, AC, DC, pulsed.....)?
Can you post a schematic of your present set-up?

it is a resistive touch pad which gives output in volts(analog)
