hi,

i want to control the solenoid valves with my pic 18f4550.
as i think i will connect transformer for supply, mosfet and flyback diode.
any other idea? suggestion? circuit?

thanks advance...

There are purpose-made ICs for interfacing logic/micros to solenoids and motors (i.e. inductive loads). They provide much of the protection that you will need from back-emf etc. Try googling for solenoid drivers.

hi...

i found many ic for driving solenoid like l293,l295 etc. but this ic are for dc output. and my solenoid valve is working with ac voltage and current. so any other ic for that???

If your solenoid coil is AC-driven I'd suggest you use a 'solid state relay' to drive it.
