im making this project i use android app inventor to connect to bluetooth module then connect the TX rx to TX rX of 16f877a

in the app inventor bluetooth Blocks

when button.click
do bluetoothclient.send1byteNumber
number= 50
175y0h.jpg

i mean what 50 is bluetooth sending to the pic is it byte or integer or ? to be use in 16f877a
in some guides that i search its 50 because they want number 2 symbol he is using arduino
anybody can explain to me this

thanks

I would imagine it's probably just a text string?, not a 'number' at all.

Connect the BT module to a PC serial port and use a terminal emulator to monitor the data.

meaning i will set a variable for that string in flowcode

also

should i directly connect the TX of the bluetooth to the RX of my 16f877a or should i use a RS232
