Im trying to sketch a schematic of a DC jack which has 3 connections. I am not sure which one is ground, which one is Vdd and what do i do whith the third one. Three connections are ( sleeve, shunt and tip). I have the documentation file for this DC jack **broken link removed**
Can someone explain the connections to me?
Thanks

Sleeve is ground, tip is Vdd, and you would not connect the shunt (also known as ring).

This assumes that the power source will supply Vdd (+) on the tip.
