Hello,

has anyone a good idea to connect 2 PCB to each other?

the need is 4 wires

needed distance = half meter.

i was thingking of some molex conectors but i think they are a bit pricey..
and also allot of work.

another questions = how much ampere's can a RS232 conector have??

Regards,

TKS

How about using 28 guage flat ribbon cable with IDC sockets to plug onto header pins on the PCBs?

https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm This wire guide says 28 guage can handle 226mA. If that's too little, just double up. Use a 10-pin cable and socket. The four wires on the PCB will each split into two pairs on the cable, and recombine on the other end.

About the RS232, I dunno.

what current you need to run over this connection?
would regular phone cable with RJ jacks fit the bill?
