Hi, like BC547 is common used transistor for low voltage.
Now I'm looking for common thyristor for my simple 5V relay switch, any suggestion?
Thanks for answering.

Common types for small loads are such as C106 (in many variations), and BT14x / BT15x series.
There are hundreds of others though.

The C106 is a "sensitive gate" type that only needs a low trigger current, 200uA. Many types need 10 - 100mA or more to trigger.

eg.

Be aware of the on state forward voltage of thyristor is not very low. The datasheet for the C106 shows that it could be as high as 2.2 Volts. This can be a problem when used in low voltage circuits.

With a supply of 5V, the relay may only see 2.8 Volts
