Hey guys, i have a honda, and today i had an issue with the car. It just cut off while driving. SO i started again, it cut off again. Started a few times, finally got it idling, then i popped the hood, and saw the lead from the coil to the distributor was arcing on the gearbox, and figured that was causing the issue. When i moved it, i started getting shocked. Now, if i hold near lead near the coil i do not get shocked, but if i hold the lead near the distributor end, i get shocked. I spoke to a mechanic and he said the coil may be damaged, hence the feedback shocking. True?

Sugest you replace the lead from coil to distributor. Its obviously faulty as it shouldnt arc through the insulation.
