Hi building an output box for a greenhouse controller and i was wondering

what type of protection is required (ex: MOV, snubber circuit ect..).

basically i have a metal box with 12x relay 30A 120VAC, and a control

section (PIC, rs485, XBEE_PRO). Since the relay support 30A but they

will have a MAX 15A current running throu them i will need one 2 x 14gauge

wire per output bringing 120VAC inside the box. So my question is

what should i put for protection at the input and what should i put for

protection at the appliance socket output, is a MOV at input and a snubber

at the appliance socket good enough? Thanks a lot ! Alain Clarke
