Paper Shredders.

I've seen where paper shredders could use this technology. Some baby's fingers have been grabbed and chewed off because of the lack of safety. Also dogs tongues are gone.

How would you design a safer paper shredder ?

Without knowing how it works you can't know how good it is. What if I want to cut a piece of wood with a lump in the middle?

Ok, just read some of the replies and it appears to work on conductivity. That's clever. Do you have to wear a wrist band?

Did you go to the site and look at some other video's ? Maybe google the invention specs ?
