I have a small 3 wheel mobility scooter designed to charge the 24 volt system with a 2.0 amp charger. Can I use an Invacare 24 volt 8 amp charger on it without damaging the battery? It says "for rechargeable batteries 28-60 Ah":)

So what's the Ah rating of the mobility scooter battery?

If you wanted to use that charger you could put a small value power resistor in series to limit the current (perhaps about 1/2 ohm). That wouldn't prevent full charging of the battery.
