ceramic capacitors

can we hook ceramic capacitors on breadboard?
are all capacitors have leads?

And also for inductors,
all inductors have leads?
can we hook any inductor on breadboard?

help please..

hi,
You can use most components on plug in bread boards.

One point is not to force an oversized diameter wire into a board socket, else you run the risk of damaging the socket.

Also take care with components that run very hot, they will melt the plastic around the socket.
 
However, there is a limit to what you can build on a breadboard.

Don't think about building anything high frequency (> about 10MHz), high voltage (> about 100V) or high current (> about 1A) because it won't work and for the latter two there's a risk of damage to the breadboard.
