Hey.
I found an old Orion system. when I try to play cd, the cd is "Jump".
what can be the resons for it?
how can I fix it?

CDs skip?
It is worn out.
Its laser is dirty or its output has decreased.
Its photodetector is dirty.
Its optical mechanism is binding.

if the laser is worn out, how can I check it?
if I replace the laser by the cdrom laser, will it work?

You replace the optical assembly with the correct one for your unit, there are quite a lot of different types, most of them manufactured by Sony and starting KSS - such as KSS210.

Depends entirely on the model, most 'modern' CD players require no adjustment.
