CCP modules in PIC16F877.. pls advise

Hi all, can i use BOTH CPP1 and CCP2 modules AT THE SAME TIME ???

i wanna use CCP1 as a capture and CCP2 as a compare.... and both are using Timer1 in the TIMER mode.

A quick answer would be yes. You may want to consult the reference manual for PICmicro mid-range MCU family, specifically chapter 14 on CCP modules.
