Car Horn sound effect or module for model car

I have a model car that I put a working horn button on the steering wheel. Right now I have a mini buzzer hooked up to it, not very realistic.

I would like a more realistic sound effect. I already tried the 555 timers but the buzzer was better. Also tried a voice recorder chip but there was terrible noise problem trying to record through the piezo mike plus a slight delay.

So I guess I need a better circuit or ready made module or a way to hook a voice chip directly to my sound card bypassing the piezo mike.

Thanks!

You might try the 4046 PLL chip instead of the 555.
In my C-mos Cookbook there are a few circuits for that from siren to two tone. You need a small speaker to produce the sound.
