can i get help in hardware details for interfacing of 80c552

can i get help in hardware details for interfacing of 80c552 with eprom 27c512 and rtc 48t02....actually i am not able to detect that 80c552 is working or not? is there any test to do it?

what are basic requirments of this 80c552 to getting started with external memory??? i am trying led blink test on the ic...it is working with simulator but not with ic 80c552

The 80C552 is a ROMless 8051 from Philips.
You need a program in the external ROM
The external ROM must have a CS-bar(Chip Select active low)
The EA pin on the processor must be grounded
You need a working oscillator
You need a working RESET circuit
You need an external latch on the low order address data lines(AD0 thru AD7)
The latch should be transparent when ALE is high and latch on the trailing edge of ALE
PSEN-bar should go to the OE-bar(Output Enable) of your EPROM.

Can you post a schematic so we can have a look?
