I have a handle full of LS32 and LS153 chips that I would like to use in building BEAM Bots with a group of boys I'm working with in the Royal Rangers. Any and all suggestion for circuit design would be very appreciated.

This site is all BEAM stuff (likely already know). They say the LS consume a lot of power compared to more modern versions. Guess you could use any series, just need to be prepared to feed it...

If you can pull out a very regulated 5 volts to feed them then I wouldnt see why not...

If it is for a LED, it isnt going to be very satisfactory, because it wont be very bright. I would add a transistor to the output to get some more milliamps to it.
