Camera + Video Application

Hello

I want a circuit which has a camera and a screen. what i want to do is that i want to turn ON this circuit with a microcontroller PIN. Once the system is turn ON, camera video should be shown on the screen. I have absolutely no idea what components to use. my application is a security system with a main panel and the client requires me to add a scrren on the main panel and camera should show the video from main gate. i am using 8052 microcontroller and micro will turn on or off the entire system with a singel pin.

Please let me know what components to use and which are easily available from market. also let me know how to interface it.

is there any reason you can't just wire up the camera to the screen normally... and just turn the power to the screen and/or camera on and off with the microcontroller using a relay?

Yes sure...

Keep in mind that i want a small screen which will be mounted on the main panel BOX of the system. I want a very low cost screen(LCD or any other i don't know much about what displays are available but it should be small and cheap) +a small camera. Camera will be hooked up the screen on the main panel and microcontroller can turn ON the system. this will turn on both camera + screen on the main panel and screen will show video from vide.

so my only requirement is both screen + camera should be small. screen or display can be any think like LCD and the solution should be cheap.

All you need is either a switching transistor or a relay fed from the micro, and simply turn power on to the camera and screen. Your first job is to find a camera and screen, as you haven't filled your location in we don't have a clue where you might be, so it's pointless making suggestions!.
