Camera Clock Question

Hey there,

I am developing a mobile device and it will utilize an OMAP5912 applications processor and a MT9T001 camera. I am drawing the schematics and am confused about the terminology on the OMAP Camera port.

The OMAP has the pins "Horizontal Sync", "Vertical Sync", and "Line Clock"
The Image Sensor has the pins "Line Valid", "Frame Valid", and "Pixel Clock"

I don't understand what the difference between a horizontal sync and a line clock is. Don't they both trigger at the end of the line? Or does one account for the blanking and one doesn't?

I thought that hsync would go with linevalid and vsync would go with framevalid, but that doesn't leave any space for the pixel clock, and I doubt that the OMAP would try to look at the image data asynchronously. What would be hooked up to what?

Thanks!
