Gaston Member Jul 9, 2004 #1 is there any way to calculate inductance so i can make my own transformers
zachtheterrible Active Member Jul 9, 2004 #2 Not sur if this is wut ur looking for. It works for the inductor in my fm transmitter. https://www.lalena.com/audio/calculator/inductor/. Of course this is a calculator for air core inductors, u might have to google it.

In a "Transformer" or on a "Coil wound on a Ferrite Core (or laminates)", the Core Material has an "AL" Value which Multiplies the Inductance Value. This "AL" Value Needs to be Calculated and taken into account in the calculation. I have this info and will see about posting it in the near future. Take care..........Gary
