Elliott Sound Products has an excel sheet that you can use to calculate what type of heat sink that you need, both physical dimensions and the type of material used for the heat sink. This process would require you to select a heat sink, input its' dimensions and material and the spreadsheet will give you the thermal figures.

Check:
www.sound.au.com in their downloads section.
