building infrared TX and RX with CD4069 OR SN74H04

Hi guys,
I tried this little project out. i built an infrared transmiter with the CD4069 hex inverter and the output frequency was at 10KHZ. now i still would want to use thesame IC to build the receiver but how to configure the pins are my problem. Please any help or a website direction were i could get the circuit diagrame for a CD4069 or SN74H04 hex inverters infrared receiver would be apprecialted Thanks.
 
Hi Timothy,
This IR FM receiver uses a CD4069 as an amplifier but uses a 100KHz carrier frequency.
