Bug Zapper

There is a component on this bug zapper that is (was) connected to a 2kv cap and the metal grid that zaps bugs, any idea what it could be?

It could be a molded radial capacitor.

Draw a schematic. It will be easier to tell what it was.

It won't be worth the trouble, the entire end of the high voltage side is fried from the transformer back to those 2kv caps.
I have voltage going into the transformer but nothing coming out.
Diodes and one or more capacitors are gone.

Do not have any idea regarding the value, sorry.

It was probably thrown into the design as a quick fix and eventually failed. Draw the schematic.
