Hii.. I am a research Scholarin physics , I need high voltage(~2kV) ns pulses of very fast rise time of order ~10 ns , which circuit should I follow, can anyone help me by showing simulation setup
Use an adjustable spark gap as the "switch" and charge a suitable capacitor via a resistor to control the voltage rise on the cap.
When the cap reaches the gap breakdown voltage, the current rise should be very fast, with the pulse duration set by the capacitor value and discharge current.

Generating and handling 2 kV pulses with nanosecond rise times is dangerous and very sensitive to layout. Use proper isolation, coaxial cables, and discharge tools in your experiments.
Thanks...but I want square wave pulse , so I found this two image from Google, I have also tried in simulation "NI Multisim" but I got no result , so can you help me in simulation?
