a robot builder is an electronic man at first i think

please try to learn electronic and then you can build YOUR own robots even with your own ideas....

making an simple robot like beam robots is not so hard and perhaps every one could make one with afew components and info about electronic but if you want to go for more complex bots then you need to know about microcontrollers(isuggest PIC family microcontrollers), electronic sensors(like photodiodes,phototransistors, ultrasonic sensors,IR sensors...), motors and H-bridge..

except the microcontrollers that needs for more time to be learned the other categories are not hard to be learned

hi tell me what kind of robot are u having in mind to make. first decide it. then go for other things cause it will be very difficult for you. first design a simple four wheel car and make it control through microcontroller.
