hi
please help me identify this component BDX47. in attached photo and identify the logo. the device is a surge protector in smd. The size is 6*10mm.

Can some one please help, indicating a source and datasheet for this!!

Thanks in advance.

all effort is put and only a reference is shown to philips /nxp darlington power transistors. Thanks for fast response.

Your device was originally manufactured by General Semiconductor( that is the LOGO). General Semiconductor was acquired by Vishay in 2001. Your best bet is to contact vishay OR if you can find an older GS data book?

Vtech,
thanks , it is a great info. Incidentally i have also found that TPA100 from ST micro has the similar smd versions.

thanks again.
