Multi-sim is a good program, well it is more so now.

Like Juglenut said multisim is an alright program. I'm using an older version (5.12) but I find this program much more forgiving and easy to use for preliminary designs than orcad (e.g. pspice etc.).

A good site with circuits is:
http://www.discovercircuits.com/

To answer nids question I would suggest that you read good books on basic electronics rather than depend on any site..
A good publication and a good author will lead you on the right path to become a better engineer
