i am just entering into electronics. i dont know much about ICs and microprocessors. i am starting with just a basic robotic car( basic functions : motion, taking turns, reverse) running on motors and minimal electrical components. it is to be controlled by a simple rc(the rc is wired to the car). this is my 1st "project". i would be happy to receive some guidelines on constructing the remote and turning mechanism of the/a car. or maybe names of some sites giving building methods. this is urgent , so please help me as soon as possible !!

Well since this is a basic remote control (wired) you don't have to know anything about RF or MCUs. Just use cable and few buttons on remote end..
