basic question

sure but you may need to tell it it's a hex but seeing I don't no what your using C or basic or assembly and endc so it maybe like this (vin> $FA) binary (vin>%11111010) that swordfish basic I'm sure c Is some what the same

Can I write if(vin> 0xFA ) instead of if(vin>250)

If you're using C or another language which uses the 0x prefix to indicate a hexadecimal number, then yes.
