Engineers are lazy and they dont use charts.
Im pretty sure anyone electronics novice have done exercises where they resolve a network of resistors to find the net resistance. Well, just do the same with a network of impedances to get net impedance.
Z(resistor) = R
Z(capacitor) = 1/jwC
Z(inductor) = jwL
Note impedance is normally a function of w=2*pi*f (signal frequency).
Since by definition, Z=V/I, by knowing impedance, you can easily calculate currents,voltage,phases,magnitudes or whatever you want, by just substituting the input frequency. DC analysis is simply freq=0.
