I have a custom voice board that I have to reload voice messages into from a portable CD player. The problem is I have to hear the message and I need a line input to my board. I built a small amplifer with 2 LM386 one for left and one for right , I use the left for the speaker and that works great, I use the right for my line in and it works but is not very clear. I tried to put a 1000uf cap inline with the line in but was still noisey. I am driving a 8ohm speaker for which the circuit was disigned for but dont know the impedence of the voice board. I would appreciate any help.
