M Mark_Markus New Member Oct 19, 2023 #1 I found an open source 6 Axis robotic arm, the hardware cost is something like $2k if buy the below kits. https://www.anninrobotics.com/product-page/ar2-aluminum-and-hardware-kits-combo https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/a...and-power-supply.html/?tracking=59c1139e8987b Might give this one a go. Anyone had a look and figured out what any better software to control it?

There are also boards for external high power drivers & distributed system boards, eg. slave board operating via CANBus. Some info: Robot industrial 6 axis docs.duet3d.com Have a look at the Duet forums for more info and support - the firmware authors are active on there and are very good at implementing new ideas or quick bugfixes. Duet3D Support and Discussion forum for Duet3D Hardware, Firmware, Software, plugins and wider 3d printing/CNC discussion. forum.duet3d.com (I've used quite a bit of their gear, otherwise no connection with the company).
