I see a new movie coming.

Yeah i seen that this morning. Well i guess the scientists know what they are doing so shouldn't happened. But if you ask me it would be a good story for a movie.

And good luck to the people working on this accelerator to find that dark mater or what ever they want to find. Might be a breakthrough in science.

Well come August, if you find your molecules pulling away from your body into an abysmal pit of swirling darkness, don't say you were not warned. :)

What will be most cool is the pool of swirled thoughts at the event horizon of the next generation of physical concepts that will spawn when the first proton streams begin to collide and raw data begins to emerge from this 5+ billion dollar beast of man, machine and idea. August is only the start of the warm ups, it's going to take the next couple years to calibrate and get true data from this behemoth. The results will keep the theoretical physicists currently with bits in their mouth and snaring at the reins busy for the next dozen years, and mathematicians busy for the foreseeable future.

Assuming that the nay-sayers are wrong and these guys don't actually turn the planet into a black hole or a hot lump of strange matter. :)

Let's just hope nobody forgot a decimal point anywhere.
