Might it be a variant of the R7F0C801-805 microcontroller (R7F0C80512E)? It comes as a 10 pin chip, but part number varies a bit from yours. The "2E" may be a temperature specification. Vss would be pin 4, Vdd would be pin 5
Otherwise, hard to find other references. Good luck.
It may be easier to find if you describe what equipment this is from, and a better picture of the surrounding area and traces.
