AND gates

What is the most basic AND gate? If 7408 IC, then can you tell me the bandwidth for which it will work? will it work at 38Khz?
 
A 7408 should run up to around 20 MHz. The datasheet for any logic gate will have that information. Bandwidth is an interesting concept for a logic gate.

38KHz is really VERY low frequency, it's only just above audio, you would struggle to find any electronic component that wouldn't work that high.
 
That's not hard e.g. the :mu:A741 :D
