Hi all.
Im doing a college project where i am sampling a mains voltage and current for harmonic distortion. I have reduced both signals down to below 1 volt peak to peak. I wish to pass the two voltages onto a pic 18f4620 and from there through a uart and finally trend the two waveforms and their frequency components in a scada environment using Kepware software. My question is what is the best way to get the information through the pic, do I need to do an FFT with the pic or is there a different way of obtaining the frequency components. Any help would be great.
